Currently, I work with SEO professionals to develop content strategies that double-down on data driven insights. The goal of this strategy is to optimize affiliate commissions on webpages across the company’s network.
Biography
Born Feb. 6, 2000 at St. Anne’s hospital in Columbus, OH, I am the son of Matthew and Jennifer Monnin — two loving parents from Tipp City and Marion, OH, respectively.
Growing up in Central Ohio, I have fond memories of spending time with my two younger siblings, Cate and Henry. As a trio, we enjoyed vacations with the family to places like Yosemite and Hawaii as well as camping trips to nearby Hueston Woods and Hocking Hills.
Playing sports with others is a theme that prevailed throughout my childhood. Having experimented with basketball and soccer as a young kid, I ultimately found a niche in long distance running. From ages 10-18, I participated in both track and cross country — two sports that afforded me the opportunity to make some lasting memories doing something I loved.
All told, I was certainly no Steve Prefontaine — though hopefully I’ll be able to grow a mustache like that one day.
At age 18 I graduated from Bishop Watterson High School and began pursuing my undergraduate degree at Loyola University Chicago — a Jesuit university located in the city’s Rogers Park neighborhood.
My four years in college yielded some of the most memorable moments of my life. From the formation of lifelong friendships to the discovery of new hobbies — such as writing and gardening —, I feel incredibly fortunate to have the experience I did.
In the spring of 2022, I graduated from Loyola Chicago with a Summa Cum Laude designation as a member of the Business Honors Program. I finished as a Marketing and Information Systems double major.
Less than a month after graduating, I began my professional career at Catena Media — the worldwide leader in gambling affiliation.
